Almost 70 years ago, roasting coffee in the kitchen at home was as much a part of the daily routine of people as watching TV is ours now-a-days. Most of the people at that time could not afford to buy roasted coffee so they relished roasting coffee at home with the help of cast iron stoves, over their fireplaces or out on their porches.
